Rated in Dec. 2013. Big thanks to Sparky for sharing. This 750mL pours with a nice looking murky deep copper body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up a blended smooth mixture of dark fruity esters, other vague fruity notes and then running into malty sweet rich bourbon and booze. Nice. The taste is smooth and rich and subtly vibrant at the same time. It starts with bourbon booze mingling with sweet malt smothered prunes with some maple syrup tossed in for good measure. It gets even more rich and warming as the finish approaches. Great stuff.
