Acidulated white wheat, raspberries and an inoculation of lactobacillus in the fermenter give this American ale its tart, fruity taste. Low hop levels let the special sour flavors dominate, and rice syrup helps yield a particularly light finish and body. This is a real summer refresher.

Making a Berliner Weisse seems to have become a lost art among brewmasters, but thankfully you can still find them if you look hard enough. You can smell the tartness a mile away for this beer. A golden pink beer with almost no head. Lots of tart fruit and wheat in the aroma with some spice hints to round it out. Flavour is very well balanced with some mild fruit sweetness that gives way to the tart notes one expects from the style.

Pours barely translucent grapefruit with a thick, pink-tinged eggshell head that says hello and then fizzes on its merry way. Aroma yields tart raspberry, raw malt, a little berry sweetness. Flavor delivers tart and sweet raspberry and zesty malt. Texture features fair body and lively fizz, and a raspberry finish. Berry good.

Wild ale might be a bit of a stretch but tasty nonetheless. Pours a cloudy orangeish colour. Nice froth. Nose is sweet. Lacto is so mild. Very mild. Tartness is soft, with just a hint of sourness. Bright berry finish.
