a very nice, not too strong example of a belguim style brown beer, maybe a little subtle for some. only 5.5% but lots of fleeting burnt chocolate flavours smooth and dry with a slightly brown head good for a session.

a slightly sour dark belguim beer . beautifully balanced with a short slight choclately nose . pours well into a large balloon glass (duvel). nice creamy head with good retention. a long flavour slightly sharp to begin with but balancing well and lasting. a really good belguim beer
