View Collective Arts Blueberry Sour with Cacao Nibs
cyrenaica reviewed the beer Collective Arts Blueberry Sour with Cacao Nibs
473ml can
5.6% ABV
Canned On: January 13, 2020
LCBO Outlet #483 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Royal Bank Plaza)
February 22, 2020
$4.25
The beer pours a blackish-blue colour with a generous bubbly head that lasts a while and laces well. The blueberries and the chocolate dominate the aroma but there are also hints of yeast and grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is tart fruit up front, and chocolate smoothness in the back end. Quite enjoyable to be honest!

View Collective Arts Collective Project: IPA No. 12
PaleAleRider reviewed the beer Collective Arts Collective Project: IPA No. 12
Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy white head that then dissipates to a thinner coating. Thick dirty lacing. Has a fairly hazy golden orangey appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of mild tropical fruit, floral and citrusy notes, a bit piney and yeasty. Flavours are very fruity and juicy, mostly tropical fruit, pine, citrus with some yeasty notes in the finish. Smooth and slightly drying mouthfeel. A little bit of bitterness on the palate but quite mild.

View Belle Gueule Gustav Hyper IPL
Chopz reviewed the beer Belle Gueule Gustav Hyper IPL
Pours a clean darker amber colour with a frothy, kind of creamy, light-beige head with good retention and lots of wavy foamy-creamy lacing. Cereal grain aromas with a caramel malt base and some dark fruit notes (dates, raisins). The mouthfeel is warming with a little alcohol. Big bitterness in the finish. The rest of the flavours are hidden behind with some decent maltiness. The hops just linger and the alcohol is kicking in. Does the job for a stronger lager with lots of hops.

Chopz drank some Belle Gueule Yéti
If this was a 12-pack of this, could be a real nice lager to chill around the deck - with just enough hops to go down nicely.

Pours a clean amber colour with a frothy warm cap, good stay and some spotted lacing. Nice fresh cereal nose well-balanced with the mild hops. The taste is hoppier, taking over the grainy malts. This creates a crisp and quite dry mouthfeel for a regular lager. It goes down nicely for the style because of this. Not a bad new product, for those looking for a hoppier lager.

Chopz added a beer to Brasseurs RJ, Les
Belle Gueule Yéti, a 5.2% Pale Lager: Abominable lager.

View Griffin Claw Norm's Raggedy Ass IPA
Chopz reviewed the beer Griffin Claw Norm's Raggedy Ass IPA
Had somewhere in Austin, TX. Poured a lightly hazed golden-amber colour with an off-white head, leaving creamy full lacing. Grassy and fruity malts for aromas. Hoppy taste with a decent blend of grass, citrus and fruity base. Mouthfeel is dry and bitter, but not to the maximum. An easy-drinking IPA that is well-balanced.

Had in Austin, TX on a trip. Poured a light golden colour with a small white cap and some wet lacing. Nice Saaz hop nose over mild cereal grains. Same hops in the taste with the light malty base. Lightly crips mouthfeel, medium-bodied. A decent Pilsner, maybe just a tad too thick to have another one.
