Pour is a vibrant red with a fizzy white head that dissapates quickly like a soda. Aroma is of sweet rasberries and a spicy alcohol touch that tingles the nostrils. Taste is to match, sweet and alcoholic; extremely robust. Thick and spicy mouthfeel. Took me an hour and a half to drink half a bottle but left me feelin' toasty. Another great aggresive beer from DFH.

Well, this is definitely the worst Belgian beer I have ever had. However, it still was pretty decent. Hay colored pour with a white head and no lacing. Aroma is a bit weak, but subtle sweet tones and touch of hops can be detected. Taste is about the same, but a bit weaker. Pretty uninvasive on the palate and goes down very easily.

Almost black pour with a thick tan head and good lacing. Aroma is very sweet; touches of pumpkin, tons of ginger and lots of sugary (maybe a bit chocolatey) malts. Taste is dominated by the ginger and sweet/subtle chocolate malts; the pumpkin is there, but is extremely subtle. Mouthfeel is a bit watery, especially for a "porter" but leaves a nice aftertaste that dissipates fairly quickly. Not bad, and overall pretty interesting.

2006 Edition on draught. This beer is really an exploration into fresh harvest wet hopped IPAs. There is almost nothing else to this beer besides the unfamiliar tones and twangs you get from wet hopping from a fresh harvest. Body is a light amber orange, good head and retention. Nose is complex, fresh flowery/floral hop notes, with a touch of some citrus hops and a SLIGHT detection of some malts (caramel and maybe some sweet fruits). Taste is to match, wet hop domination; floral and citrus mostly, a touch of some sweetness but not much. Body is very light and the mouthfeel is a bit sticky. The hops linger... and linger in the palate.

Pour is a deep brownish orange with swirls of particles and a thick white head. Nose is hoppy, mostly citrus notes, and sweet, mostly of honey and fruit. Alcohol is subltle in the nose. Flavor is close to the nose, but I think the alcohol is a bit too dominant. Taste is slightly sweet, of honey and some citrus fruits, but is mostly hoppy, yeasty and alcoholic. Not bad though.
