Reviving the tradition of this style of beer long before the bigger breweries caught on. Using fresh oysters in the late stages of the boil gives this delicious chocolaty, creamy beer mysterious qualities which, although not scientifically proven, help a couples' amorousness if not their fertility!

Cask at the GBBF 2008. Black colour, dark brown in the highlights. Pleasant fruity and roasty aroma with a breath of sea air. The flavour has a moderate and smooth roastiness with a distinct fruity acidity at the side. The oysters don’t come through much though.

Cask@Market Porter, Borough. Dark ruby red colour, small head. Aroma is roasted malts, dark dry fruits and some malts. Flavour is slightly roasted malts, some spicyness and earthyness. Earthyness is kind of sour and acidic, which makes the beer slightly out of balance.
