On tap at the brewpub, this beer started the day off right. Dark opaque body with a fluffy tan head and layers upon layers of lacing. Roasted malt aroma with toast and dry nut accents. Creamy, thick and filling, mouth feel is wonderful and the pint emptied with ease. Flavor is chock full of burnt/roasted malts with a heavy nutty characteristic. Some faint sweetness with notes of chocolate and toffee. A fine dry stout to be found.
