An extra strong variation on the regular Vlo, for the 25th anniversary of De Bierkoning, a bottleshop in Amsterdam. Also dryhoppped with Centennial hops. Note: the bottles mention 7% ABV and not the word Extra but has an extra label that says "Extra Speciale Vlo, tgv 25 jaar de bierkoning. Koudgehopt 9% vol alc.".

Bottle (bought from GBBF 2010). Rubyish red colour, with small off-white creamy, but longlasting head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and a bit acidic wooden as well. Flavour is caramel malts, rather hoppy, some yeastyness as well as wooden notes. Rather mouthdrying in the palate.
