Dark amber color. Small to no head. Aroma is sweet, touch of cardboard, grain, rice and cardboard, and none of it very nice. . A light bodied bock. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of cardboard (both wet and dry) No hop flavor. No much malt flavor either, just cardboard and wet towels and possibly some wet dog as well. This makes 4 of 4 awful beer for the December 2004 Micro Brew of the Month Club. The last swallow of this induced a shudder. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is neutral

I too was disappointed by this one. I don't know if it was the bock title or not, but this wasn't anything German. Somewhat of a burnt and yeasty aroma and flavor. Hops were noticeable and didn't seem to match the beer.

Appearance was a light brown with little head to speak of. Flavor was mainly chocolate but for some reason sour at the same time. Fairly weak beer overall with a watery aftertaste.. This one really lost out amongst the other quality brews I had on my trip to Atlanta.
