Had as Desert Pilsner. Pours wan yellow with a thick, snow-white head. Aroma provides zesty malt and a mixture of pomme and tropical fruit. Flavor is even bolder, fruity - tropical and pomme, a hint of citrus - plus tangy malt, a little sweet. Texture features firm, smooth body and perky fizz. Enjoy your just desert(s).

One of several beers that my buddy John picked up while volunteering at the World Beer Conference (when it was held this year here in San Diego). With such obscure beers such as this, I feel lousy for having not showed up to help out at this event!

But to be honest, this is yet another beer of his "grab bag" of rarities that I just as well skip next time around. Not horrible, but horribly dull.

Rather overally-similar to so many other brewpub/microbrewery "American Micro-Pilseners" -- little real character, no complex aromas (esp. in the way of the Saaz hops), not very bitter, not too malty, not very challalenging. Very much yet another beer made for the common-denominator masses, IMHO.

Agian, like I said before, this isn't bad at all. But while drinking it, I had the distinct impression that I've had this before so-many time previously.

A thirst-buster, but very little else....

This was certainly yellow in color, very musty skunky aroma. I basically thought it was cool cas it was from new mexico and i scored it in atlanta. Pretty bad tasting, stale taco shell flavor.

Aroma is of......nothing! Appearance is a cloudy yellow with a small head. Flavor is crisp with little else going on. A slightly creamy aftertaste. Very much a lawnmower beer bringing very little to the table. Standard lager.
