500 ml bottle, from Systembolaget. ABV is 5.9%. Pitch black colour, big brown head. Nice roasty aroma, notes of coffee and dark chocolate, hints of cigarbox and leather as the beer warms up.. The flavour is distinctly roasty, notes of coffee and dark chocolate again. Not much sweetness. Burnt notes in the bitter finish. Pretty good beer.

Draught@SBWF2008. Deep ambery brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is mild coffee, some roast and also wood and chocolate. Flavour is the same along with some fruits and some barnyard. Aftertaste is roasted malts and fruits.

Pours out in a dark brown color, almost black with a low creamy tan-colored foam. Plenty of dark chocolate, roasted malts, mild liqorice, hay-like hops and fudge. Medium to full-bodied with strong notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, anise-seeds with touches of dryish spicy UK hops. Long medium-bitter dryish finish of roasted malts, dark chocolate, hay, salty licorice and anise. Very english in style and quite powerful.
