Seriously…who drinks a lagered American style wheat beer? Apparently I do, but not any more. The can pours a cloudy golden yellow with a frothy white head. So far so good. Then the aroma kicks in and we have an epic fail. Where’s the wheat? Where’s the banana? The clove? The bubble gum? All I can smell is grains, some weak corianderish spice, and herbal hops. The flavour was as epic a fail as was the aroma. What is a wheat beer if you can’t find the wheat?

I like wheat beers, even swillish macro produced wheat beers, but this one is just bleh. Basically kind of what you'd expect of you added wheat yeast to Canadian

Pours a very big foamy head and has a slightly hazy, yellowish appearance. Patchy lacing. Average carbonation. Mild wheaty and light citrus aromas. Flavours are quite similar with a bit of grainy malts and wheats as well as mild citrus hops. Slight tangy mouthfeel and a tad watery. Not bad for a mass produced product from Molson. Perfect for summer!

Beer pours a hazed pale gold with a frothy white cap that didn't last long. The aroma was very similar to a regular Molson Canadian, not much to give any impression that this is a wheat beer. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation...certainly not as thin as a Molson Canadian. The flavour is a little more robust than Canadian with less phenolic notes and a hint of wheat. Still rather metallic and tart however.

Pours a cloudy golden colour with a creamy white cap that last quite a long time. A very long time and the lacing is thick all-around. The aromas are a different thing though. Not as nice. Smells like the typical Molson Canadian adjuncts. The taste is pretty weak, as the alcohol content has gone down compared to the regular one. A little wheat with some light citrus notes in the finish. They seemed to have made this one milder to not offend the regular Molson Canadian drinkers, but to make most feel a little better because of the unfiltered higher-end-looking brew. We'll see how well this does this summer.
