Bottled. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is very much sweet malts, mild hops and some hints of yeast. Flavour is malts, caramel, yeast and hops. Quite sweet notes. A quite nice one.

One would think that I would shoot for big, bold beers, what with my nose still a bit out-of-whack (from the remnants of a cold and all). But no..., I've been in one of my rare Lager moods this evening -- popping open my second Czech Pilsener tonight. And while I've enjoyed both the Lev Lion and the Lobkowicz Knight, I have to give the edge to this one for sheer "likeability".

Rather sweet for the style, IMO. And while I would have normnally liked this to be a bit drier and crisper, this has many of the same characteristics that draw me to the like of Samuel Smith Pure Lager Beer -- filling in the mouth, but not bloating or heavy on the way down. Spicer than the British Lager, but otherwise the comparisons are close, IMO (and that's not a bad thing).

Not extravagant or flashy -- just another solid Czech Lager, for beating the heat of a warm Summer evening....

Lt gold color, medium head. Mild malts and hops. A light lager, sort of hoppy. Taste slightly off, a little sweet, possibly a little skunky. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Nothing special here, just your ordinary amber colered beer with a sweet wheaty malty lager feel to it. Not offensive in taste though so ill give it that, slightly refreshing.
