After a mixed array of beers, I needed something to wash out some of the funk, and to cleanse the palate a bit (especially after the mess that was/is Stone's 9th Anniversary Ale). I originally picked this up for my wife, who prefers the sweeter fruity-tooty Belgian beers, but figured this would be an adequate change of pace, drinking-wise.

And the verdict? This is *exactly* what I assumed it would be. Ruby-red in appearence, pink-ish foam, raspberry in the nose, and massive amounts of sugary-sweet/tart rapsberries in the flavor profile. In other words, this is a closer Lindemann's Framboise clone than the original, seemingly...!

But is it drinkable? Yeah, despite the sugary-sweet avalanche of over-ripe raspberries, this is indeed still palatable. Perhaps the epitome of what some folks might call a "girlie-girl" drink, but really? Not horrible. Just hide the bottle, if you don't want to be seen drinking a fruity-fruit beer in public... ;^)

Worthy, for what it's meant to be....
