Part of the Forager Series: Last fall, local friends and family gathered 150 pounds of heirloom and backyard pears. It wasn’t until this spring that we had tank space to brew a beer from this harvest. This 9% sparkling ale is brewed with wit yeast and Northern Brewer hops. Not a funky farmhouse, but more Champagne-like and dry as a bone. Yet another “beer for people who think they don’t like beer.”
