Notes: This India Tea Ale (ITA) is a refreshing twist on the Session IPA. Brewed with local malts, this Fearrington Seasonal has the flavors and aromas of an IPA, but with a toned down ABV perfect for the South’s hotter months. Citrusy hops blend with Charleston Tea Plantation’s "Governor Gray" tea and bright lemon peels. Refreshing, sessionable, and distinctly Southern!

Pours clear golden amber with a thick, frothy eggshell head. Aroma presents hoppy and fruity notes that reach out to the drinker some distance from the glass. Or bottle, or stein, or whatever. Flavor delivers hoppy, tea, fruity and malty notes for a refreshing brewski. Body seems a little thin, but fizz is OK and finish emphasizes the tea character. Never fear summer when you have this ale!
