Pours a clear golden with a thick and fine-bubbled eggshell head. Aroma is crisp and malty with a hint of apple. Crisp flavor has notes of sweet malt and apple plus a snip of hops. Smooth texture is average, but this still an above average brew. Should make you purr.

So I think it is fair to say I am in the minority here on this beer. Let me first say that this beer just won the gold medal and "Best of Show" at the Virginia Craft Brewer's Fest. That being said, it wasn't for me. The beer tasted metallic. not my thing. I will say that I had this straight from the bottle at a very cold serving temp. I will try this again to see in proper glassware and re-evaluate.
