Parents of a client of mine brought this beer back for me from Ecuador. Reminds me of that some old swill I'm so used to having when I visit C.A. Golden, lots of carbonation, lots of head. Plenty of corn and malt flavor.

(brewn in Colombia, under licence). Golden colour with mediumsized white bubbly head, which vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is malts and hops with some hints of maize. Flavour is pretty much the same. Atleast it has some bittering notes in it, but really not that good...

Along with "Pilsner", I drank buckets of this brew on my frequent trips to Ecuador in the 80's. Haven't had any for years, but as I recall it was a drinkable lager, similar to the mass-produced swill here in the US, but it seemed better because I was drinking it in Ecuador! Usually hard to get it cold enough, especially in the Galapagos, but always a welcome refreshment. Not much of a review, I know, but it's something.
