L'Épisode où notre maître-brasseur a brassé une American pale wheat pour célébrer la fin de l'été. Brassée avec plus de 40% de blé, cette pale ale houblonnée présente des notes d'agrumes et de fruits tropicaux sur une base ultra soyeuse et sèche. L'utilisation d'un mélange de levure sur mesure nous donne un profil plus sec et légèrement épicé qu'on est habitué de retrouver dans les bières blanches. On obtient donc un hybride entre une blanche allemande et une pale ale américaine.

Hazy golden colour with an amber hue, a frothy-bubbly white cap, decent stay and some light foamy lacing spots. Citrus nose with mild orange juice, lemon zest and hints of herbal notes. The citrusy action continues into the flavours with a tad grassiness and honey. Milder taste than an IPA, as an APA should be. Not feeling too much wheat, which I do like. Some particles do come out at last pour. A good, refreshing, citrus Pale Ale that is easy-drinking.
