Presented with a nice grapefruity nose confirmed in the taste, but with a layer of pine and a solid malt frame. Light amber in color with a this white head. Crisp and bitter from beginning to end. Well-crafted.

Another brew from the Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition Festival '06. Excellent caramelly and piney aroma with hints of fruit. It had the makings of a great IPA, but in the mouth I found it to be sticky sweet at times with just hints of astringant bitterness, but that didn't spoil all the hoppy, dextrine-filled goodness. Nice, but a bit off from greatness.

Growler (had same day as poured). Poured dark brown with about a 1 1/2 inch head. Pleasant hoppy, malty aroma. Bitter, but not too bitter. Very hoppy and flavorful. Nice malty aftertaste.
