http://www.barleyjohns.com/oyster-stout/ Brewed with real oysters! That’s right, this rarely seen style of beer – a style that already pairs perfectly with oysters – is brewed with real oysters. Whole, fresh Calm Cove oysters were added to the boil, and fresh Washington oyster meat was added to the whirlpool along with the aroma hops. Don’t worry, this beer is far from fishy. The oysters’ liquor and shells give this stout a briney, mineral-like quality that pairs perfectly with all of the roasted malt. You’ll find a whiff of ocean breeze on the nose, and a hint of salt in the finish. Pair it with some fresh oysters, or drink it alone. Either way, we’re sure you’ll love it!
