Pours rich dark-chocolate brown with a thick and rather persistent tan head. Smoky aroma has notes of roast malt, licorice and - yes - oysters. Flavor has bold smoky, roast malt and licorice tones plus oyster and toasted nutty hints. Mouthfeel is not exceptional, but finish has good smoky malt and subtle licorice and oyster notes. Holy Ninja, what a great beer!
