This is a strange beer. A wheat ale that pours out a very dark brown. The head is tan, creamy, and maybe a quarter of an inch thick. The nose detects wheat, chocolate, and stale hops. Body is medium. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Taste is roasted malt, and bitter chocolate. A dunkelweizen in looks and taste without the hefe yeast!
