Pours a black colour with a little dark brown highlights. The head is mocha-coloured with great retention and thick creamy lacing. Rich aromas of dark fruits and liquorice. Both of these are also found in the flavours, but with some nice cherry notes blended in. The wood barrel adds to it all. The alcohol is very well-hidden. Hardly any warming. Very smooth, loaded with dark fruits and aged properly. Would definitely have again.
