This is pumpkin beer Paradox style. A Barrel-Aged Pumpkin Beer! This seasonal special contains pumpkin, roasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds) Chimayo red chile, and a hint of cocoa. Truly a special pumpkin ale. Aged in red wine barrels, abv is 6.5%.

750 ml bottle, 849 / 1140. Pours reddish amber with a medium frothy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is roasted caramel malts with some chili and and a little pumpkin and brown sugar.
The flavor is sweet and sugary toffee malts with a little fruity tea spicing and some chili and some vinous notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, interesting, but overly sweet and I don't get a lot of the chili and pumpkin (seed).
