Is this a Belgian Ale or a Brown Ale? I see it listed as both from time to time. It came to me on draught as a murky dark brown with a foamy brown head. The first thing the nose senses is the yeast, followed by coffee, roasted malt, and brown sugar notes. The beer is a tad sweet with notes of raisins, sugar, and chocolate being prevalent. Worth trying again though.

The beer pours a solid dark brown with black hints, and almost no head. The aroma os roasted malt, yeast, and coffee. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is chocolate malt, cherries, and yeast.
