This big IPA is aged 30 days in oak barrels. This pale amber beer features hops everywhere, with an earthy hop aroma that becomes increasingly fruity as it progresses through the palate. The oak takes the sting out of the hops, leaving a mellow, aromatic palate with a sturdy malt backbone leading to a dry and quite bitter finish. This is a superb sipping beer.

Medium gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and fruity. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are nutty and sweet. A touch oaky. Hops are spicy and slightly bitter. Tastes like a ramped up West coast style IPA. It’s bitter, yet it has a fairly smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
