The aroma is sweet caramel, cereal malt, weak maple notes, some yeast, and come herbal hops. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is not as sweet as the aroma would suggest. Notes of caramel and maple, and hints of hops in the bitter finish. A little one dimensional but with calling it a ‘butter tart ale’, I think that is what they were going for.

The flavour was roasted malt, weak caramel notes, cereal malt, and light citrusy hop notes. The beer was decent, but the flavour was weaker than the aroma would have indicated.

Quite enjoyable.

The flavour is very citrus forward, especially grapefruit, with hints of cereal malts, caramel, and pine. An enjoyable beer to watch a game with.

The aroma is caramel, some citrus peel, earthy hops, and a light spicy note. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, sticky, with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the caramel malt sweetness, and citrus peel bitterness in the finish. I quite like the beer.

The flavour was bread, light caramel, some yeasty notes, and nice bitter hop finish. A solid beer for a Saturday evening.

Lots of caramel flavour, and lots of dishsoap flavour. Not a good balance. Weak bitter finish doesn’t help the cause at all.

Mouthfeel is full-bodied and creamy with ample carbonation. Flavour is grapefruit, coffee, and a lingering weak sourness that is just strong enough to detect.
