Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and copius amounts of anise and chocolate. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, quite possibly the fullest bodied beer I have ever tried. The flavour is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and smoke. An excellent beer.

A bit on the sweet side for an Impy Stout, but still very enjoyable.

The beer pours a solid black with a generous dark brown bubbly head. The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, molasses, and soy sauce. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt, smoked wood, coffee, and anise. Finish is very bitter, almost rubber flavoured. Alcohol was well hidden, but not what I was expecting, and quite a letdown.

None whatsoever, barely a ring. Aroma is roast coffee, dark chocolate, and hints of vanilla. Mouthfeel is full bodied with good carbonation. Flavour is roasted malt and dark chocolate. Some smoke comes through, and unfortunately so does the alcohol. Looks great, great body, but the rest of it just doesn't do it for me at this price point.

A very rich and heavy beer. Definitely an all-night sipper. Marked down for overall because $13.95 is too much for 750ml. 750ml of Witches Brew and 750ml of LTM Oktoberfest cost $13.15 combined on the same trip!

I'm not not into beer caps, so it doesn't really matter to me, but I didn't want my 'Beer idol beer' to be a Molson Canadian 67. The beer poured a solid dark brown colour with a bubbly tan coloured head. The aroma was dark fruits, roasted malt, coffee, and vanilla. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation...but thin for an Imperial Stout. The flavour was coffee, roasted malt, some caramel, and some vanilla. It's obviously a popular choice amongst the wait staff because every single one of them has made a positive comment about the beer as they've passed by.

The flavour was bitter dark chocolate, some coffee, lots of roasted malt. This is a huge whallop of chocolate in a beer, maybe too much of a whallop because I'll take the Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout over this any day.

The smoke flavour lingers in the mouth.
