The aroma is sour cherries and not much else. The mouthfeel is puckering, full-bodied, slightly creamy and champagny. The flavour is powerfully sour cherries, and a huge bite on the back of the tongue. |

905 | Guinness Extra Stout | Canada | Foreign / Extra Stout | 2.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 July 9, 1998
Toby’s (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – First Canadian Place)
592ml Draught
5.00% ABV
$3.50
This is the beer that convinced me that Ales are not for me. I think the aroma is alright, and as for appearance, there is something about beer that looks like coffee that turns me off. Even the flavour wasn't that appealing to me. I found this to be a slightly bitter beverage. Even the mouthfeel felt very thick and strong with little in the way of carbonation. I'm the only person I know who doesn't really like Guinness so it's not you people...it's me. |

909 | Moosehead Small Batch Heritage Series: London Stout | Canada | Foreign / Extra Stout | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.5% ABV
Canned On: November 15, 2018
LCBO #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
February 2, 2019
$3.10
The beer pours a coca-cola colour with a generous rocky tan coloured head that lasts several minutes. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and notes of vanilla. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation….disappointing for a beer labelling itself as a ‘London Stout’. The flavour is roasted malt and watered down coffee. Not a great beer but not a bad beer. Certainly shows that a ‘large’ Canadian brewer can brew decent beers |

911 | Railway City Cranberry Festive Lager / Railway City Merry and Bright Cranberry Lager | Canada | Fruit Beer | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.50% ABV
Canned On: November 1, 2018
LCBO # 255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)
November 21, 2018
$3.69
The beer pours a slightly hazed light copper colour with a light tan coloured head that quickly recedes to a ring. The aroma is tangy cranberries, grass, and floral hop scents. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is really just a grainy lager with a hint of tangy cranberries thrown in. The beer was canned 3 weeks ago, but the fruity freshness isn’t there. |

912 | Ace Hill Winter Radler | Canada | Fruit Beer | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 March 13, 2019
LCBO Outlet #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
473ml can
3.0% ABv
Canned On: November 29, 2018
$3.15
The beer pours a hazy orange colour, reminiscent of C-Plus Orange Soda from the 1980s, with a loose foamy light tan coloured head which doesn’t last. The aroma is dishsoap, oranges, weak herbal hops, and ginger. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, almost powdery, with below average carbonation, which is expected in a radler. You can taste both the fruit and ginger in the flavour, which is rather unique. Again, as a ‘drink’, I would try this again based on flavour alone, but still looking for more beer quality. |

913 | Central City Red Racer Low Rider Raspberry | Canada | Fruit Beer | 3.6

The aroma is grass, raspberry jam, milk, and floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is very fruit forward, a lot of raspberries crossing over the tongue. Also notes of tart fruit, grainy malt, and a weak hop finish. The sweet and tart raspberry flavours drown out any bitter hop notes that may exist. |

914 | Ace Hill Lime Radler | Canada | Fruit Beer | 2.5
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 4 June 5, 2019
LCBO Outlet #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
473ml can
3.0% ABV
Canned On: April 22, 2019
$3.15
The beer pours a highly hazed golden orange colour with a bubbly white head which lasts a few moments. The aroma is light grass, like, oranges, and ginger. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. There is a lot of lime in the flavour, and next to no beer. As with their other two radlers, this is a great tasting alcoholic juice beverage, but really isn’t beery enough for me to call a radler or shandy. |

The flavour was quite fruit forward, with the grainy malt in the background. There was very little bitterness in the finish. An interesting beverage. |
