301 Forked River Mojo Canada American Wheat 2.9

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

500ml bottle
4.5% ABV
Summerhill LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
July 22, 2015
The beer pours a clouded pale yellow colour with a 1" snow white head. The aroma is wheat, citrus, rhubarb, and yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is wheat, grains, and yeast with hints of citrus. While I can smell the rhubarb, I can't find it in the flavour......and I love rhubarb. The weakest Forked River brew for me so far.

307 Granite 1812 Porter Canada Baltic Porter 4.1

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

650ml bottle
6.4% ABV
Bottled On: January 30, 2019
Granite Brewery and Tied House (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
March 23, 2019
$8.50
The beer pours a solid black colour with a half inch brown cap which lasts several minutes. The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, and some licorice notes. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma with lots of coffee and roasted malt character. The brewery calls this a Baltic Porter but there really isn’t anything Baltic about it. As a Baltic Porter it fails, but as a Porter it is great!

308 Browar Fortuna Komes Porter Baltycki Poland Baltic Porter 3.3

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

500ml bottle
9.0% ABV
Best before: March 9, 2019
Main / Bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
August 7, 2018
$3.65
The beer pours a coca-cola brownish-black with almost no head, save for a thin dark brown film of bubbles. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and alcohol. The alcohol was very noticeable. The mouthfeel was medium to full-bodied, but carbonation was well below average, almost no carbonation in this bottle. The flavour was sweet milk chocolate, bitter coffee, and roasted malt. Despite the dating on the bottle, this seemed like an 'old' beer based oin the lack of carbonation and real flavours, but based on this bottle, this beer was a letdown
