Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 330ml bottle
0.0% ABV
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
May 26, 2020
$0.00
The beer pours a metallic gold, plenty of effervescence, and a huge frothy white head which quickly disappears. The aroma is grainy malt, yeast, and weak herbal hops. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is weak grains and a peppery finish. For a non-alcoholic beer, this is quite drinkable. |

2227 | Coors Organic | United States | Light / Lite Lager | 2.4
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 473ml can
3.8% ABV
Canned On: March 9, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
May 28, 2020
$3.05
The beer pours a translucent straw gold colour with absolutely no head aside from a thin white ring which is hugging the glass. The aroma is grainy malt, bread, yeast, and some funk. Mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grainy, but with a slight sour twist. There is a definite hop bite finish however. The funk in the aroma and the sourness in the taste are a little off-putting, but aside from that, it’s not as bad as a Coors product would be expected to be, |

The aroma is weak grassy malt, clementines, and light funk. The mouthfeel is light bodied with slightly above average carbonation. The flavour is light grains, light clementine, and a light tart finish. The lack of a head is disappointing and really ruined the re4st of the experience for me. |

2237 | Molson Canadian Wheat Lager | Canada | Pale Lager | 2.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 473ml can
4.5% ABV
King/Spadina LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
May 5, 2013
Beer pours a hazed pale gold with a frothy white cap that didn't last long. The aroma was very similar to a regular Molson Canadian, not much to give any impression that this is a wheat beer. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation...certainly not as thin as a Molson Canadian. The flavour is a little more robust than Canadian with less phenolic notes and a hint of wheat. Still rather metallic and tart however. |

The aroma was grains, alcohol, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was sweet and grainy with a definite alcohol presence and some old leathery notes. I'm quite surprised that D.A.B. would pass a beer like this off as a Maibock when it more closely resembles a beer like the Crest and Faxe 10% strong lagers. I rarely drain-pour a beer, and I can't remember the last time I did it, but add this beer to the short list of my drain-pours (I almost feel sorry for the drain). |

2243 | Rochester Mills MilkShake Stout (Crème de Menthe) | United States | Milk Stout | 2.3
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 473ml can
4.5% ABV
Best Before: June 6, 2019
LCBO # 255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)
December 3, 2018
$3.49
The beer, when held up to a strong white light, pours a translucent dark brown colour with blackened edges. There is very little to no cap to speak of, aside from a small brown island of bubbles. The two predominant aromas are alcohol (it’s only 4.5%) and mint. Closer inspection reveals roasted malt, chocolate, and vanilla. The mouthfeel is very thin, almost soda pop thin which goes along with being a translucent stout and quickly disappearing head. The flavour is very weak, almost watered down. There are weak hints of roasted malt and chocolate with a hint of mint. This did not make for a good beer, but would have made for a great soft drink. |

It pours a pale gold colour with a white fluffy head and a lot of effervescence. The aroma is grain/corn, diacetyl, and weak hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is quite grainy, but that's expected for a macro lager. |

The aroma is stale grains, weak floral hops, and metallic notes. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grainly, slightly sour, and salty and acidic notes. Not very refreshing at all. Based on others who have tried it, they must have had a better batch, because this is awful. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 473ml can
4.7% ABV
Main/Bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
April 20, 2018
$3.25
The beer pours a medium urine yellow colour with a thin white film that stands in for a head. Very hazy and very unappealing to look at. The aroma is light tropical fruit, some grass, and some lemony scents. The mouthfeel is watery with below averahe carbonation. Despite biying this 2 days ago, this could be an old beer based on appearance, aroma and mouthfeel. The flavour is grainy malt, tropical fruits, and a weak bitter finish. I don’t expect Mill Street to make world beating beers, especially now that they are under the Labatt (i.e. Anheuser-Busch-Inbev) umbrella, but I do expect better than this. |

The aroma is dominated by the ginger, but there are notes of earthy hops, cereal malt, and light yeast. It says lime on the can, but I don’t sense any. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is awful. The peppery heat overpowers the malt and ginger notes and there is little bitterness in the finish. |
