The beer poured a dark reddish brown with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was sweet malt, roasted malt, some sugar, and a little hoppish tone. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is sweet and has a nutty character to it. An excellent beer. |

An excellent refreshing beer. As this is now sold in LCBO stores in Ontario - I hope Canadian brewers take note and start brewing similar beers by the oceanful. |

I really can't tell a difference between the 16 and the 18 (aside from the $1.00 in price)....both are very good beers. |

The beer poured a translucent rusty red colour with a very thin tan coloured cap. The aroma was overwhelmingly grapefruity hops, although after a while, some sweet malty hints poked through. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied, somewhat 'chewy' with medium carbonation. The flavour was similar to the aroma with the sweet caramellish notes a little more prevalent among the grapefruit flavours. |
