Aroma is Chimay yeast, orange and apple notes, spices and a hint of alcohol. Mouthfeel is full bodied, with good carbonation. Flavour is light fruits, the yeast and alcohol are certainly noticeable, and a bitter finish. Very similar to the Chimay White, with the alcohol definitely more noticeable.

As with Chopz, not noticing the pinot noir at all - just a very good Ontario brewed Belgian.

The peppers come through in the flavour along with the cinnamon and milk chocolate notes. The roasted malt is there, but you feel the peppers and alcohol as it goes down the hatch.

Well hopped in the finish. A very good beer with a lot of wood characters without the alcohol being dominant.
