The beer poured a very dark brown, almost black, with a huge brown bubbly head. The aroma was roasted malt, nuts, dark chocolate, and molasses. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with high carbonation. The flavour was very sour with hints of chocolate and roasted malt - in fact, the sourness lingers.

The flavour was tropical fruit sweetness and some grassy maltiness. Went down very easily for a 5.9% ABV beer. <br> <br> Note: After finishing the beer, the bartender informed that she also thought it was pineapple we smelled and tasted, but it was in fact mango and peach.

The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is sweet and fruity...almost fruity enough to be a turnoff. Flavour has similarities to their Dragonberry pilsner. It's certainly a sham if you ask me.

The flavour has a lingering grapefruit bitterness that hung around long after the beer was gone. There was some cereal and pepper in the flavour as well.
