The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma. Solid stout, no surprises. Considering that the brewery specializes in wild ales, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the stout.

The flavour is grains, citrus, light brown sugar, and a definite presence of alcohol. This beer warms the belly, and as I watch a snowstorm outside, I don’t have an issue with that.

The flavour is grains, light caramel, and a light bitter hop finish. Maybe lacking a touch of sweetness to balance out the mild bitterness, but a decent beer nonetheless.

Lacing is non-existent. The aroma is biscuit malts, yeast, tart citrus, and light cranberry. It’s definitely citrus, but it doesn’t say ‘tangerine’ to me. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is very tart with both the cranberry and tangerine up front. Not a lot of bitterness in the finish, although it could be washed away by the tartness.

The flavour is a balance between the tart apple notes, and the grassy malt. The finish is more tart than bitter.
