2201 | Windswept Brewing The Wolf of Glen Moray (9.0%) | United Kingdom | Scottish Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 October 26, 2019
LCBO Outlet #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge Eglinton Centre)
330ml bottle with case
9.0% ABV
Bottle #972 of 4344
Best Before: July 31, 2022
$4.95
$4.95
The beer pours a very foamy pour. And it takes 5 or so minutes to settle down. Once settles, the beer is a translucent dark copper colour with a HUGE bubble tan coloured head which lasts. The aroma is molasses, whisky, roasted malt, and caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is alcohol, smoked wood, peat, caramel, and leather. A lot of barrel, not a lot of Scotch ale. Not a favourite of mine. |

2202 | Fourpure Coastline | United Kingdom | Wild Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 440ml can
6.0% ABV
Canned On: March 28, 2019
LCBO Outlet #010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Summerhill)
October 26, 2019
$3.00
The beer pours a slightly hazed golden orange colour with a thin white film for a head. The aroma is fruity and grainy with hunts of musty hops and funky yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, puckering with average carbonation. The flavour is very tart, with hints of grains and a bitter finish. I’ve had gooseberry jam a few times, and this beer brings back those memories….they’re not good ones! |

2211 | Coors Organic | United States | Light / Lite Lager | 2.4
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 473ml can
3.8% ABV
Canned On: March 9, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
May 28, 2020
$3.05
The beer pours a translucent straw gold colour with absolutely no head aside from a thin white ring which is hugging the glass. The aroma is grainy malt, bread, yeast, and some funk. Mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grainy, but with a slight sour twist. There is a definite hop bite finish however. The funk in the aroma and the sourness in the taste are a little off-putting, but aside from that, it’s not as bad as a Coors product would be expected to be, |

2212 | Blue Moon Mango Wheat / Belgian Moon Mango Wheat | United States | Witbier | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.1% ABV
Canned On: January 28, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
June 24, 2020
$2.65
The beer pours a hazed metallic gold with a thin creamy off-white head. The head lasts a while but there is no lacing. The aroma is dominated by sweet mango notes with wheat, cereal, and light spices in the mix. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a battle between the mango and the wheat and the loser was my tongue. There is a bitter flavour I can’t put my finger on but it kills the beer. |
