A well balanced, but still complex beer.

The flavour is strong on the roasted malt end with just a hint of raspberry. A very malty beer but I enjoy that in my porters and stouts.

The flavour is roasted malt, some oak, some smoky notes, and anise. The oak flavour lingers, and not in a good way.

The flavour is herbal notes, some wpices, and cereal and bisuit malts. The beer is very dependent on the spicy and grain aromas and flavours.

The aroma is cereal grains, passion fruit, and a little bit of mustiness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, a fair bit of creaminess, and below average carbonation (how very British of them). The flavour is cereal malt, tropical fruit, and nice bitter hop finish. Not as flavourful as the Omnipollo Zodiac I had earlier, but still decently flavoured.

The flavour is tart citrus, some funk, light grains, and a light bitterness in the finish.

Nice lacing, but almost no effervescence. There are a lot of fruit notes in the aroma, some tropical, some citrusy, along with hints of grass and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the sweet malt notes of the grain, and the slight bitterness of the tropical hops. A highly drinkable pale ale.

The predominant aroma is burnt wood and alcohol. I really can’t detect anything else. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma. I am getting more of a carbonated whiskey flavour than a barrel aged beer flavour. There’s a lot of discussion as to whether this was a DIPA or not. I’ll add ‘is this even beer’ to the discussion. A big disappointment for me from I&#38;G.
