Effervescence was apparent. The aroma was slightly sweet, there is a hint of oak, nutty malt, but no signs of whiskey. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour unfortunately has a sour finish to it and has a hint of whiskey. The malt and oak are definitely evident as well. The beer looks great, but the taste doesn't match up in my opinion. |

The taste is good with some hints of malt and fruit (although I can't place the sweetness off-hand). |
