The aroma is peanut forward with grassy malts and coffee in the mix. I don’t get any raspberry whatsoever. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The raspberry does come through in the flavour, but is still very light and lost in the mix of chocolate and peanuts. Finish isn’t very bitter at all.

The aroma is ginger forward with notes of tart cranberries, wet grass, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the tartness of the fruit, the ginger flavour, and the grains. I’m not a huge fan of cranberries, but I really like this beer!

Lacing is non-existent. The aroma is biscuit malts, yeast, tart citrus, and light cranberry. It’s definitely citrus, but it doesn’t say ‘tangerine’ to me. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is very tart with both the cranberry and tangerine up front. Not a lot of bitterness in the finish, although it could be washed away by the tartness.

The aroma is cereal malt, grapefruit notes, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is hop forward with grapefruit notes galore, the malt and yeast notes are in the background. There is a tart berry note in the finish that ruins what otherwise is a very good beer.

The aroma is bready grains, lots of orangy citrus notes, and yeast. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is not to my liking. It tastes like a weak iced tea with cereal malts mixed in. A bit overpriced at $3.15 for a 355ml can if you ask me (and you may not be aware of it…but you did ask!)

The flavour is nicely balanced between the citrus and grass notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Finish is mild, not very hoppy.

There is a bit of lacing. The aroma is cereal grains, caramel, citrusy hops, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the caramel maltiness and the citrusy bitterness. Definitely some grapefuity notes on the tongue.

The aroma is cereal grains, citrus, tropical fruit, and some floral hop notes. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a light mix of sweet caramel notes, and bitter citrusy notes. You cannot taste the alcohol, but you can feel it going down. Another good beer from the fine folks on the QEW.

The flavour is fruit forward as well with notes of tart berries leading the way, followed by hints of strawberry sweetness and a very bitter finish.

The flavour is light caramel balanced by light citrus. As described, there is no bitterness in the finish.

The flavour is similar to the aroma with roasted malt, soy sauce, and coffee as the predominant notes. Nickel Brook can make a much better stout than this. Having been canned only 9 weeks ago I would have expected.
