The lack of phenolic and metallic notes puts this above most Canadian pale lagers.

Nothing more than ticking off a province really.

The flavour was light fruit with hints of ginger, sage, pepper, yeast, and grass. If only the aroma was as good as the flavour.

The beer was highly effervescent and laced nicely. The aroma tropical fruit, citrusy hops, caramel, spices, and grassy malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was sweet fruit followed by very bitter grapefruit notes. The bitterness lasted a while.

Not a lot of sweetness, nor a whole lot of bitterness. 'Meh' is a good way to describe this beer.

The aroma is yeast, roasted malt, molasses, and hops. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, brown sugar, yeast, and alcohol. Quite surprised as I expected less.
