The flavour is very tart, with spices and salt thrown in. A better than average gose.

This beer is not a bad beer, but it isn’t a good beer either.

The aroma is very hop forward with citrusy grapefruit notes dominating the caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy (Cowbell seems to like creaminess in the feel) with average carbonation. The flavour is a miss as I get a Nestea Ice Tea flavour from the beer. Citrusy hops and sweet malt are both present, but neither really dominate the flavour and all I can taste is Nestea flavours.

The flavour is interesting as it is quite malty with the yeast notes showing through more than the hop notes. I was hoping for better from my hometown brewer.

The flavour is strong on the roasted malt end with just a hint of raspberry. A very malty beer but I enjoy that in my porters and stouts.

Very disappointed after reading other reviews, and the lack of a legible date on the can makes me wonder if this is an older can.

The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is quite grainly with spicy hop tones intertwined. Not something I would try again.

The flavour is very metallic with hints of rye and herbal hops, unfortunately not the 'spicy' rye I prefer. Like the beer I had earlier, this is not something I would try again.

The aroma is dominated by roasted coffee and dark chocolate but there are hints of nutmeg present. The mouthfeel is full bodied, creamy, with average carbonation. The bottle says the beer is brewed with cocoa, coffee, peppers, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and while the peppers, vanilla, and cinnamon are lost in the aroma, they can all be detected in the flavour. The peppers provide a perfect amount of heat, for me anyway, to make this the best beer I've tried in a long time.
