There is plenty of effervescence visible in the glass. The aroma is tart fruit, spices, and yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is very tart, with spices and salt thrown in. A better than average gose. |

903 | Ace Hill Pilsner | Canada | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.7
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 September 15, 2017
Real Canadian Superstore (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Thompson)
473ml can
4.9% ABV
$2.62
The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a generous foamy white head which receded faster than you can type out the letter ‘I’. The aroma was grainy malt and earthy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt with a bitter hop finish. This beer is not a bad beer, but it isn’t a good beer either. |

905 | Cowbell Brewing Absent Landlord | Canada | Kölsch | 3.2
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.3% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
August 15, 2017
The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a generous white head that quickly dies down to a thin film covering the beer. The aroma is grainy malt, some off-smelling acidic tones, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy, and average carbonation. The flavour is grains, cereals, weak hop and yeast notes as well. Kolsch is a style style I neither love nor hate and this does nothing to change that. |

906 | Cowbell Brewing Doc Perdue's Bobcat / Cowbell Brewing Bobcat | Canada | American Pale Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
August 15, 2017
The beer pours a translucent cherry red colour with a big bubbly tan coloured cap which slowly recedes to a thin lacing. The aroma is very hop forward with citrusy grapefruit notes dominating the caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy (Cowbell seems to like creaminess in the feel) with average carbonation. The flavour is a miss as I get a Nestea Ice Tea flavour from the beer. Citrusy hops and sweet malt are both present, but neither really dominate the flavour and all I can taste is Nestea flavours. |

911 | Orange Snail Brewers Iron Pig | Canada | American Pale Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The beer pours a slightly hazed golden colour with a bubbly white cap that recedes within a couple of minutes to thin layer of lacing. The aroma is light hops, malt, and yeast. There is a macro feel to the aroma. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is interesting as it is quite malty with the yeast notes showing through more than the hop notes. I was hoping for better from my hometown brewer. |

The aroma is grainy malt, weak hops, and no fruit or yeast notes whatsoever. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma profile with a very malt dominated flavour and weak hints of hops. Not something I would try again. |

913 | Harviestoun Raspy Engine | United Kingdom | Porter | 3.2
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330ml bottle
5.3% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1
August 3, 2017
The beer pours a purple tinged black with a half inch bubbly brown head that recedes to a creamy film. The aroma is roasted malt, raspberries, and weak yeast notes. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Very thin for a porter in my opinion. The flavour is strong on the roasted malt end with just a hint of raspberry. A very malty beer but I enjoy that in my porters and stouts. |

914 | Bench Brewing Ball’s Falls | Canada | IPA | 2.7
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 5 473ml can
4.5% ABV
Main/Bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
August 3, 2017
$2.95
The beer pours a hazed lemonade yellow pour with a very thin white head which quickly becomes lacing. The aroma is strong with grapefruity hops, pine notes, and cereal. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is weak, not a lot of citrus, not a lot of malt, and very little if any yeasty notes. Very disappointed after reading other reviews, and the lack of a legible date on the can makes me wonder if this is an older can. |

The aroma is definitely grapefruit which may or may not be masking both the fruit and hop aromas. Not much else to note except grapefruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is citrusy hops, some grapefruit, and weak sweet malt. Quite enjoyable actually. |

918 | Collective Arts Stash Straight Up Ale | Canada | Blonde Ale | 2.9
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
April 20, 2017
The beer pours a very hazed light golden/straw colour with a generous bubbly cap that lingers for a few minutes. The initial aroma when I opened the can was Canadian macro lager, but once I poured, a light citrus hop note that is mildly overpowered by grass and herbal notes started to become the main theme. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is quite grainly with spicy hop tones intertwined. Not something I would try again. |

The aroma is very grainy with little hint of grain or hops. Not impressed so far.. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is very metallic with hints of rye and herbal hops, unfortunately not the 'spicy' rye I prefer. Like the beer I had earlier, this is not something I would try again. |

920 | Stone Xocoveza | United States | Imperial Stout | 4.7
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 12oz bottle
8.1% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
April 4, 2017
Bottled On: October 19, 2016
Best Before: July 19, 2017
The beer pours a solid dark brown, almost black with a very generous brown bubbly head. The aroma is dominated by roasted coffee and dark chocolate but there are hints of nutmeg present. The mouthfeel is full bodied, creamy, with average carbonation. The bottle says the beer is brewed with cocoa, coffee, peppers, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and while the peppers, vanilla, and cinnamon are lost in the aroma, they can all be detected in the flavour. The peppers provide a perfect amount of heat, for me anyway, to make this the best beer I've tried in a long time. |
