The beer poured a translucent golden copper colour with a thin white head that laced well. The aroma was citrus hops, caramel malt, and alittle spice. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour slightly sweet with grapefruity hops. Refreshing and enjoyable.

The flavour was a nice balance between the citrus bitterness of the hops and the slight sweetness of the malt.

Corn syrup and metal make up the aroma. Flavour is phenolic and acidic. Needed to be shotgunned to get down.

The beer poured a translucent deep gold colour with orange hues, and a long lasting rocky tan cap. Aroma is earthy malts, honey, light fruit, yeast, and some weak hops. The nmouthfeel is medium bodied, highly carbonated, and champagne-like. The flavour is sweet malt, light fruit, yeast, and honey. Complex flavour and aroma but not something I would try again.

The flavour is weak grapefruity hops, sweet malt....and a lime-like taste in the finish.

The aroma was darlk chocolate, coffee, and floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and medium-high carbonation. The flavour was dominated by molasses and coffee, with a nice bitter finish.

The aroma was grainy malt, floral hops, sour cream, and weak fruits. The mouthfeel was meddium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, milk, weak hops, ad a hint of sweet fruit. The 'milky' aroma and taste is a turn off!

Great beer!

Not just any maple syrup, but 'Canadian' maple syrup. The beer poured a solid black colour with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, milk chocolate, and some spice. The mouthfeel was full bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet, choclatey, with hints of coffee and vanilla. A very well done stout.

The aroma is roasted malt, nuts, and coffee...very very similar to the 16 Year Old version. Mouthfeel is full-bodied, creamy, with medium carbonation. The flavour is smoke, roasted malt, nuts, coffee, and again finished with the taste of whiskey. I really can't tell a difference between the 16 and the 18 (aside from the $1.00 in price)....both are very good beers.
