Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 340ml draught
6.5% Abv
C’est What? (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
November 13, 2018
$6.64
The beer poured a solid black colour with a thin creamy tan coloured head that lasted throughout. The aroma was citrus hops, some roasted malt, and dark chocolate notes. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was a tad on the sweet side with dark fruit and chocolate flavours rounded out by weak citrus and coffee notes. It was quite enjoyable with no jolting aromas or flavours found in other ABAs |

2031 | Shipyard Pugsley's Signature Series: Smashed Blueberry | United States | Fruit Beer | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 625ml bottle
9.0% ABV
Queen's Quay LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
June 17, 2012
The beer poured a solid dark brown with a very thin head. Blueberries dominate the aroma, a good way. A little bit of sweet malt and not a lot else. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour definitely has hints of Scotch Ale in it as there is a definite molasses note, some sweet malt, graininess and a hint of blueberries. By the end of the beer, the alcohol was definitely noticeable in both the aroma and taste. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 473ml can
5.2% ABV
I tried this beer on May 6, 2011 after purchasing at the Queen's Quaq LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a hazy yellow with a huge white cap that quickly dissipates. The aroma is citrus and yeast, the spice is non-existent. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour is sour, a little wheat, and a little spice, and sourness is NOT a citrus sour. |

The aroma was orange citrus, yeast, and surprising light caramel notes. The mouthfeel was on the thin side with average carbonation. The aroma is dominated by the ginger, but there are notes of earthy hops, cereal malt, and light yeast. It says lime on the can, but I don’t sense any. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is awful. The peppery heat overpowers the malt and ginger notes and there is little bitterness in the finish. |
