The beer poured a beautiful translucent red colour with a thick creamy off-white head. The aroma is still very weak with no discernable odours. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and creamy. The flavour was roasted malt, a little nutty, and a little subtle hoppiness on the back of the tongue. This beer goes down very smoothly (as do a lot of British beers).

It pours into the glass smoothly with a small white head. The colour is a translucent gold with TONS of effervescence. The aroma is putrid...........acidic and barfy at the same time. The mouthfeel is very thin and watery, none of the carbonation as seen in the glass. The taste is very reminiscent of North American pale lagers as well..........

The flavour is burnt caramel and grass with a very bitter finish. Gets better as it warms up a bit.

The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. It says barrel aged on the can, but I can’t detect any in the aroma. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation, a bit disappointed it isn’t creamy and more full bodied. The barrel aging can be tasted in the flavour as there is definitely some wood notes on the tongue, very dry wood notes. Not as much coffee in the flavour as the aroma. A decent effort by a small brewer.

It was very grainy, and had an &#39;off&#39; bitterness that I could not place. Not something I would try again.

I get the sense that the underlying beer is more of a witbier than an American wheat. The beer pours a hazy yellow topped by a snow-white head. The aroma consist of wheat, spices, and light fruit (Passion I assume). The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. Flavour is slightly sweet, certainly not overpowering.

The beer smoothly into the glass with a nice light gold colour, clear, with a thin head. The aroma is faint, but malty. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some mild carbonation. The taste is more hops than malt and has a slightly bitter finish. Overall, a decent beer that I may try again but I prefer the lager.

Aroma alcohol, raisins, caramel, and molasses. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with ample carbonation. Flavour is sweet with the alcohol leaving a trail down to the stomach. Caramel, raisins, and molasses dominated the flavour but I felt I could detect some candy sugar in the mix. A very good beer, and definitely a sipper!<br> <br> This was part of the 2013 LCBO Spring release, but this would have been great as a winter warmer.
