The beer pours a translucent copour colour with a thin tan ring of a head. The aroma is citrusy hops, pine, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is weak grapefruity hops, sweet malt....and a lime-like taste in the finish. |

962 | Granite 1812 Porter | Canada | Baltic Porter | 4.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 650ml bottle
6.4% ABV
Bottled On: January 30, 2019
Granite Brewery and Tied House (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
March 23, 2019
$8.50
The beer pours a solid black colour with a half inch brown cap which lasts several minutes. The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, and some licorice notes. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. As a Baltic Porter it fails, but as a Porter it is great! |
