500ml can
4.5% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
July 17, 2009
The cider pours a very pale translucent gold with absolutely no head. The aroma is tart apples - and not much else. The mouthfeel is very thin and watery. The flavour is missing - there is a hint of tart old apples in a mouthful of water - but just a hint.

473ml can
6.20% Abv
Best Before: January 22, 2019
LCBO # 255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)
November 18, 2018
$3.00
The beer pours a hazed orange-gold colour with a bubbly tan head that lingers for a couple of minutes before receding into a thin ring. The aroma is grains, herbal hops, and weak tropical fruit notes. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with below average carbonation. The flavour is nicely balanced between the grains and the hops, but both flavours are weak leaving this beer as flavoured water with a hint of alcohol. Quite disappointed.

The aroma is Belgian yeast, grains, candy sugar, and lemony citrus notes. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation, despite the constant stream of bubbles in the Spencer Trappist glass. The flavours are very similar to the aroma. A nice Belgian Strong Ale with notes of grains, some honey, some , a little spiciness, and it warms the belly nicely, and since it is -10 outside, that’s not a bad thing.

The aroma is roasted malt, molasses, nuts, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a tad on the bitter side. It starts off sweet, but the bitterness overpowers it by the time it reaches the throat. So, a tad thin for a Wee Heavy and a little too bitter for the style.
