An Abbey Dubbel that I truly enjoy. It never failed to satisfy me.
Aroma: The aroma was yeasty with hints of toffee and malt
Appearance: The beer pours a brownish colour with a long lasting tan coloured head
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is thick, creamy, with ample carbonation.
Flavour: The flavour is a combination of malt, yeast, and dark fruits.
Overall: A very good example of an Abbey Dubbel.

    1991 Vintage.
Aroma: The aroma is a mixture of hops and fruit (peaches/apple) with some sugary tones (caramel)
Appearance: The beer pours a copper brown with a small off-white head that lingers.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, highly carbonated, with hints of sourness on the sides of the tongue
Flavour: This was a bitter beer with a strong sourness that lingers. There was also hints of fruit (apple) and malt
Overall: A very good beer in it's time

My favourite brew from the Brasserie de l'Abbaye des Rocs
Aroma: The aroma is very complex with hints of fruit (apple/plums), yeast, malt, and spices.
Appearance: The beer pours a dark reddish brown colour, with a huge long lasting white head.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is full-bodied, creamy, and has mild carbonation. There is a dryness that is admirable as well.
Flavour: The flavour is as complex as the aroma. Each mouthfeel brings a new flavour. The start is fairly malty and yeasty yet the finish is fruity and spicy
Overall: I'd recommend this to people, but I want it all for myself!

Another fine brew served up by the Brasserie de l'Abbaye des Rocs
Aroma: The aroma is very bready with some malt, figs, and plums
Appearance: The beer pours a hazy reddish brown with an off-white head that lingers for a while.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is full-bodied, creamy with good carbonation
Flavour: The flavour has a malt background with some yeasty and fruity hints that make a great complex brew
Overall: An amazing beer I highly recommend

I've always been a fan of the fine brews served up by the Brasserie de l'Abbaye des Rocs
Aroma: The aroma is malty with strong hints of yeast and prunes
Appearance: The beer pours a dark brown, with a long lasting generous tan-coloured head.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, slightly creamy, and with ample carbonation
Flavour: The flavour was yeasty with tones of malt and toffee.
Overall: An excellent beer that I recommend to anyone.
