Alright buddy! I know I am a few days late, but I usually don't have time to check the site on the weekends. Way to go! Keep drinking the good stuff.

In Reply To #9 August 31st might be tough but I'll give it a shot! Actually, it's middle of June - yeah, I can do that! Good luck!

In Reply To #10 This is true - it is your fault! Sadly I am not getting paid to shell out money on beers I've never had before so I can't really say I'm doing this for a living. It's been fun though and I can pretend. 67? I think you're probably going back to old faithful Newcastle quite a bit. Nothing wrong with that... I think Crown is at around 90, so yeah, he'll be there soon.

Congrats! Good luck on the 2nd hundred. There is no way I could find 100 different beers (worth trying) in my area. I can already tell you that more than half the beers I have ever tried were in TN and GA, not AL.

In Reply To #13 A lot I've tried were in NC (I'm up North now) so that gave me a few more to work with. You're right though, it's tougher than it sounds. I think I have to find a new place to go with new selections. Gonna stroll down to the pub this afternoon, hope they've got something new on tap!!
In Reply To #14 Man, I really feel bad for you guys. I've lived in both, Upstate NY and San Diego, and I have never had a problem finding new beer to try. When moved from NY in November I had just over 700 beers rated and still had a bunch available to me in my area that I never tried. Now that I live in San Diego, my choices seem endless. Have you guys ever considered doing some trades? Contact someone from another part of the country that has some beer you might want to try and see if they will make a trade for you. The down side is if you don't have anything good to trade, they may not trade with you.

In Reply To #15 Hah! I was just going to say there is nothing here in Alabama to trade. Luckily, PK and I live near the GA line.
In Reply To #15 See what Bluez said. We're hoping, based on recent passage of law in Ga., that maybe just maybe....there's soon to be a better selection of brews available there. Not too long a drive, and worth it if the selection is there. I've serious doubts that many here would trade a sixer of Chimay for a sixer of butt..er, bud. Top of the line here is Guiness, SNPA, Pete's (and you really have to hunt), Abita Amber (available at one saloon)....you get the picture. I would love to do a trade...anyone for a trade of my homebrewed for Magic Hat? Take your pick, I've got Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager bottled, soon to have Abita Amber and after that is Ayinger Maibock (you'll have to let it age.)

In Reply To #15 Ohh, I think I've got a nice selection to trade. Up here in the north there are a nice amount of local micro brews that are very good. Judging by your reviews, you've had them all Vacula.

In Reply To #19 Wow. Nice job. I'm at a little over 150 right now - seems to be right on my Aug. 31st projection. 300 by Christmas? You got it! I'll give it my best shot, I'll make the 300th a nice xmas gift.
