Far from a great effort by Sierra Nevada. The pour is a solid mahogany. The head is a thin tan ring. Laving is decent. Aroma is molasses, peat, grains, and yeast. Thin mouthfeel for the style. Bourbon comes through with the flavour but clashes with the peat and sweet malt usually associated wioth Scottish ales.

Pours a viscous black, light barely penetrates the edges. Cap is thin, creamy, and brown. Lacing is minimal. Aroma is all Belgian yeast with coffee, licorice, and chocolate as well. Thick and creamy mouthfeel. Taste is weak with flavors of coffee, yeast, and grains.

Pours coffee sable with a thick and persistent tan head. Aroma delivers a strong note of maple syrup, followed by roast malt and a bit of mocha. Flavor features maple that is not as overpowering as in the aroma, plus roast malt, quality coffee sweet chocolate and a hint of molasses. Texture offers viscous body and peppy fizz. Gotta love Wisconsin.

Pours rich coffee sable with a thick light chocolate head. Aroma provides roast malt, woody, quality coffee, bourbon and subtle chocolate notes. Flavor gives bourbon, woody, roast malt, coffee and shy chocolate tones - and quite a boozy bite! Texture offers good smooth body and peppy fizz. Espresso yourself!

Pours clear dark amber with a thick and fairly persistent buff head. Aroma delivers sharply resiny hops, tangy Mandarin orange and a little grapefruit, raw and slightly dank malt. Flavor provides zesty orange, resiny hops, raw malt, a honey undertone. Texture offers firm body and peppy fizz, and a bitter hoppy finish. Take it to the hoptimum.
